Fairmont Olympic Hotel Wedding
Josh & Gina’s elegant, black tie Fairmont Olympic Hotel wedding was an East Coast meets West Coast event. Because Josh’s family was traveling from the Boston area, they wanted the Wedding weekend to be spent in Seattle, where the out of town guests could enjoy all the city has to offer. Josh & Gina chose the Fairmont Olympic Hotel, not only for it’s old world charm and elegance, but most importantly for nostalgic reasons. Gina has had a passion for dancing since she was young, and it was tradition for her to go have tea in the Garden Room after watching the Nutcracker Ballet.
Gina’s stunning fashion forward gown was designed by Galia Lahav. Last December she actually visited the designer’s showroom while she was in Israel, and even met the designer herself! It wasn’t until after she came home from the trip that she ended up finding her dress here in Seattle at The Dress Theory. We loved the look on Josh’s face during the first look when he saw her in this amazing gown…it was priceless and such a great moment between these two!
Black Tie Evening Ceremony
Josh & Gina’s traditional Jewish ceremony was held in the Spanish Foyer at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel. They chose an elegant, ethereal Chuppah design which incorporated an heirloom tallit (prayer shawl) from Josh’s family. Because Josh & Gina chose to have their wedding party dressed in classic tuxes and black floor-length dresses it made for a really rich and elegant affair!
Cocktail hour was held in the Garden Room which literally brings the outdoors in!  The beautiful wall of windows brings in so much natural light which we loved! After Cocktail hour, guests were ushered into the Spanish Ballroom for the Reception and because it’s truly a stunning space it showcased the elegance of the evening. The gorgeous space of the Fairmont Olympic Hotel was enough, but we were once again blown away by the florals. The amazing floral design by Shamay was incredible! The head table with it’s lush white florals and candles was simply dreamy!
Epic Dance Party
Our favorite part of the evening had to be all the epic dancing…from Josh & Gina’s beautifully choreographed First Dance (yes, there was a lift involved) to the Epic Hora…just so much joy! Â The guests danced the night away in the Spanish Ballroom and Chris Graves created such a fun atmosphere and kept the dance party going all night long…
We have to give a huge shout out right now to Mary, one of the most awesome Wedding Coordinators! Along with her assistant Jess, they were so incredibly FUN to work with and made the whole day go smoothly!
Josh & Gina, you’re wedding was amazing, full of so much joy! We loved being there to capture all the fun and beauty of your first day as husband and wife! Enjoy these memories for years and years! Best wishes to you as you begin your married life in Boston!
